Victorian in style, the house was built in 1863 and is decorated in a traditional style. Off-street parking and a veranda add to the amenities. The Camden Public Library is across the street and all downtown Camden has to offer is within walking distance from the Bean Apartment. The interior is ornate with intricate woodwork and a gracious staircase. The Bean Apartment # 12 is located on the first floor.
Floor Plan & Decor
The front entrance opens into a classically appointed living room, with original fireplace (not useable) and woodwork. To the right is the bedroom with a queen size bed, an armoir, closet and large TV. The bed and windows are appointed with linens in the Victorian style. The bedroom has a door into the living room and also into the kitchen. When you pass from the bedroom into the kitchen the bathroom is to your right. The bathroom has a mini tub/shower combination along with commode, sink and linen closet. The kitchen has antique kitchen cabinets with white ceramic tile countertops. There is a small table and chairs in the kitchen along with the back entrance to the apartment. The decor is in keeping with the Victorian style of the home.
