A turn of the century lakefront camp on Megunticook Lake, overlooking Barrett's Cove and Maiden's Cliff. Less than four miles to the center of Camden. Beautiful views, peaceful wooded setting. Good swimming. There is a kerosene furnace for chilly fall evenings.
Style:
Comfortable and campy. Screened in porch overlooking the water, mountains, and visitng wildlife (Loons, ducks, many song birds, and chipmunks. A new dock and float for 2010 (photos coming in the spring). Outside picnic table for leasurely dining while enjoying the great views. There is a nice collection of books and games in the cottage.
First Floor:
Enter into living room to your left is the kitchen, on the right is a door to a bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom with shower. At the far end of the room is the dining area and door to the screened porch. There is a half bath accessed from the porch.
Second Floor:
At the top of the very narrow stairs is a bedroom with a queen bed, further on is a bedroom with two twins, it faces east has wonderful views of the lake and mountains and the sunrise!
